Build trust in
yourself.
Being obsessed with food and your body is exhausting. It takes you out of living presently, distracts you from enjoying the life you have, and from pursuing the life you desire. If your brain is hijacked by Obsessive Compulsive Disorder and/or Body Dysmorphic Disorder, you’re also depleted from the endless cycle of obsessions and compulsions.
After years of trying to fit your body and eating into what you believe is good enough, you’re tired. Maybe you’re beginning to recognize that the ways you’ve chased eating and body goals have spiraled alongside your struggles with anxiety and low mood. It doesn’t have to be this way.
You can connect to what is important to you, learn how to trust yourself, and help your brain learn you’re safe. You can feed yourself and respect your here-and-now body, and trust that who you are right now is good, is enough, and is deserving of your time and care.
